We're exploring the the nighttime world and all the possibilities our dreams hold at theKasson Public Library this summer through our "Dream Big, Read!" summer reading program!
We've got lots of fun activities and events this year, but in order to be a part, you first need to sign up.

All kids from babies up to high-school are eligible. Read books, or have someone read them to you, and fill out how much time you spent reading on one of our reading contracts. A pdf of our shorter contract is here, longer contract is here. Bring these contracts in to the library, and for every five-hour period marked, you get two library bucks. Save these bucks, because at our Grand Finale on August 1st, you can use these to buy books, candy, toys and other fun items! In addition, the top readers in each age category will win special prizes.

We also have a special art contest that runs from June 1st through June 15th. Print off your choice of our bat astronaut or a bushbaby scientist and let your creativity loose! Color, cut, paste, sculpt, or modify your entry however you think is most "artistic" and bring it back to us. Entries are judged by age group.

We have magician Star Michelina coming on June 21st at 10:30 am at the Elementary School Gym for a free performance for all who are registered. Her eye-popping magic, exhilarating energy, and unique props make her one of the country's top family entertainers.

Don't forget we have storytime every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30 am and on Monday nights at 6:00 pm. We also have a science and crafting time for older children every Wednesday and Thursday at 1:30 pm. We've got some special things planned for this summer, so come and spend some time with us!
